At Church Hill we use only the freshest local produce and organically grown herbs from our garden, top quality seafood, premium New Zealand meat - and we are one of the few restaurants in New Zealand to serve Muttonbird, or Titi, a traditional Maori food, or kai.

All mains served with fresh seasonal vegetables

Smoked Salmon,  Church Hills signature dish, fresh salmon from Stewart Islands own Big Glory Bay Ocean Farm, lightly smoked over manuka sawdust, pan-baked, served with fresh salad from the garden and roasted  seasonal vegetables

 

Stewart Island Salmon, farmed locally in Big Glory and delivered fresh to the restaurant, pan-baked, served with fresh salad from the garden and roasted seasonal vegetables

Stewart Island Blue Cod, freshly caught from the cod pots of Foveaux Strait and delivered fresh to your plate, pan-baked, served with fresh salad from the garden and roasted seasonal vegetables

Lamb Shank, slow roasted in red wine, mushroom, bacon & onion gravy, served with roasted seasonal vegetables

Muttonbird (Titi), (seasonal) traditional Maori 'Kai' (food) gathered from the titi islands out in front of the restaurant, non-salted, served as chef's special, slow cooked, served with fresh salad from the garden and roasted seasonal vegetables

Vegetarian Lasagne, served with tomato concasse, pan-baked, served with fresh salad from the garden and roasted seasonal vegetables

Big Vegetarian Salad, fresh greens from the restaurant garden, tomatoes, cucumber, cheese, olives,  fruit, nuts and seeds with a Dijon and Honey vinaigrette

Only the freshest, juiciest cuts have been personally selected by the chef to ensure the highest quality meat and seafood of its grade

All Stonegrill mains are served with a selection of vegetables

 

Prime Rump, Tender Hereford steak, with mushroom sauce

Breast of Chicken, A succulent breast served with a spicy apricot sauce

Ribeye, Tender, juicy, full of flavour, a Stonegrill favourite with mushroom sauce

Classic Mixed Grill, The World's top-selling Stonegrill.  A selection of pork, chicken, beef & venison with with a spicy plum sauce

Mixed Seafood Stonegrill, A selection of fresh Stewart Island seafood, including fish, mussels and scallops served with chili aioli dip

Surf & Turf Stonegrill, A tender, juicy, full of flavour Ribeye steak combined with a selection of seafood
